enCAST started in 2011 when a small group of friends — mostly actors and a few casting agents — began sharing casting calls to help each other find work. They were from different countries and simply sent emails to share what they found.

It was informal, but it worked — and more and more actors wanted to join. Soon it became clear that something more professional was needed.

So in 2018, enCAST became an official company with a full team. But we kept the same idea: actors helping actors.

Today, everyone who works with enCAST is either an actor or has worked in casting or film. Many of us are still active in the industry.
