Casting Overview
For an online language learning brand which use YouTube and other digital platforms and an innovative teaching method called “Conversation Based Chunking” to teach languages worldwide.
Two years ago they launched ‘Spring Spanish’, where they published several videos a week on learning Spanish and Latin American culture. The channel has over 70,000 subscribers.
Now they are launching a sister channel ‘Spring German’ to help people around the world learn German and are looking for actors who are passionate about being in front of the camera but also about language teaching, to become one of the faces of the new channel.

Roles
ROLE: German YouTube Teacher
Requirements: - Native German speaker / C2 level in German (no training necessary for teaching German) - Excellent knowledge of English - Passionate about teaching languages - Enjoy role-playing - Punctual & detail-oriented
Tasks: You create YouTube videos where you teach German and talk about your culture (the company decides the topics together with you, you create the script). *You don't need video editing skills, a team of video editors will take care of it. You focus on coming up with fun scripts and creating fun, useful video footage - You just need a quiet place where you can shoot videos (possible anywhere in the world). A good video setup with camera and microphone is an advantage (a good phone camera is sufficient).
To apply submit a 30-second self tape video presentation in German & English (in the same video).
