Your Mini Bio
Your Mini Bio is very important – take time to write it well.
It is the first thing people see on your profile, after your photo. It should be one or two short sentences that say who you are and what you do.
What your Mini Bio should, and should not, be #
- It is not your full biography.
- It is not your CV or resume.
- It is not a link to your IMDB page.
- It is not a quote saying how great you are.
Your Mini Bio is a very short description of you. It shows CDs what type of actor you are and what roles you usually play. It should also show your strengths.
Examples:
-
Madeleine is an experienced TV actor. She often plays funny, “lost” women in German soap operas.
-
Daniel works in film. He often plays upper-class Englishmen, like a modern David Niven.
-
I started acting at 7 and love musical theatre. I recently played Lauren in Kinky Boots on an 8-month tour in Ireland.
Each example gives a small, clear idea of the actor.
